Academic Program

Capitol Squash prides itself on a rigorous academic program. With the goal of ensuring that students attend and succeed in college, we have a deliberately-crafted academic program that spans the fourteen months of our enrichment program.

Our program begins with a six-week summer component that includes academic instruction, held Monday through Friday spending three hours in the classroom each day. This time is spent covering Language Arts, Math, and Science. Classes are taught by individuals who have devoted their lives to educating children, and who also have extensive experience in preparing students to succeed in college.

During the academic-year component, students are in classes 3 hours per week on Saturdays and Sundays. During this instructional time, students receive help on homework and support in areas they may find more challenging.  In addition to their schoolwork they receive additional assignments to further strengthen their knowledge (e.g. quizzes, projects, papers, etc.). We work closely with the students parents and school teacher to ensure we are in sync with each students academic progress.
